VIA's perpetual, double entry accounting system is designed to operate similar to QuickBooks™.  You no longer have to perform End of Day closeouts, saving you time every day.  Simply run the deposit report to see itemized receipts without having to tediously close out the daily ledger.

Intuitive Design

VIA's unique look and perhaps most renowned attribute is its Inductive User Interface.  This interface model was developed by Microsoft and is incorporated into the new Windows XP operating system.  Microsoft's research showed that inexperienced users learned Inductive User Interface (IUI) based applications faster, while experienced users were able to perform tasks very quickly.  IUI is based on the principle of providing only the pertinent information and links to related tasks that the user needs to perform a specific function, rather than overloading screens with unnecessary data.  This, coupled with minimal pop-up and overlapping windows, makes screens more readable and enables the viewer to process information faster.

Compatibility

Information can be captured electronically from your medical equipment directly into the patient's medical record.  Laboratory results from in-house equipment and outside laboratories on the web are automatically imported by VIA and can be trend charted over time.  Capture images from ultrasound, radiographs, endoscopic exams, digital cameras and video.  Transfer information with telemedicine specialists over the web.  VIA provides an industry first DICOM compliant solution that integrates billing, modality worklist request, PACS (picture archiving and communications) querying, and image viewing from modalities such as Digital Radiography, Computed Radiography, Ultrasound, and MRI, all from within your practice management system.  VIA's Data Mining tools, VIA Sync™ synchronization manager, ODBC compliancy, and direct export to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, ensure your data is always accessible.
