    This powerful tool uses Microsoft SQL Server merge replication techniques to monitor differential changes made to the information in a hospital database.  The differential monitoring technique dramatically reduces the amount of data that has to be transferred, even allowing a user to synchronize remotely over a low bandwidth phone line.

    During the synchronization process the latest information from the practice database is updated to the users remote computer, while information entered on the remote computer is downloaded to the practice.  Field synchronization can be established through virtually any communications connectivity, ranging from low speed dial-up, broadband (DSL or cable), direct LAN links and high speed Internet access.
