The powerful Data
Mining tool lets you perform database queries across all of your
medical, financial, and clinical data. Analyze data to spot
trends, relate medical cases, find your highest and lowest revenue
clients, and generate any type of search you desire. You can even
search for medical pictures, radiographs, or ultrasound images.
Search variables can be memorized for later use, and information
exported directly to Microsoft Excel for further analysis. |

VIA Sync |
|
The synchronization utility VIA Sync lets you view and enter information
while disconnected from the hospital network. Imagine having access to
all of your VIA data from a Tablet PC or laptop computer anywhere you go.
While on the road you can generate invoices, enter SOAP notes, or edit
records, and when you return to the hospital the changes you made are
intelligently merged with the hospital database.
This powerful tool uses SQL Server merge replication techniques to monitor
differential changes made to the information in your database. The
differential monitoring technique dramatically reduces the amount of data that has to be
transferred, allowing you to even synchronize
remotely over a low bandwidth phone line.
VIA Sync simplifies synchronization down to a single button click process.
Simply click the Disconnect button to operate in remote mode for use in the
field, and click the Connect button when returning to your hospital. During the
synchronization the latest information from the hospital database is
updated to your remote computer, while information you entered on the remote
computer is downloaded to the hospital. VIA Sync is
ideal for ambulatory and field work, transferring data between satellite
offices, or even for taking your laptop home at night to finish up your
daily work. |

Stay on top of your inventory. VIA shows you
what's on hand and what needs to be reordered, while automatically
tracking item costs with each order to give you a true cost of goods
averaged over time. Inventory reports show you the status of
stock-on-hand, purchase histories, and inventory valuations, all at a

Time Clock

The time clock allows you to electronically track
employee work times and generate timesheets. The employee census lets
your staff instantly see who is currently working and who is not. |

Electronically

to specialists, clients, or other providers. Also, e-mail or fax
medical notes, patient charts, radiographs, invoices, reminders, or any printout

makes transferring patient files a simple one-click process.

Controlled Substance Logbook |

Eliminate time
consuming paperwork and avoid missed entries by letting VIA manage your
controlled substance logbook. VIA’s logbooks are automatically updated
every time you receive, dispense, invoice, and adjust quantities of
controlled substances. The logbooks, designed to conform to American
Animal Hospital Association specifications, give you an up to date
account of both open and closed drug containers, listing all required
client and patient information and reason for dispensing and disposal. |

With VIA you can schedule database and tape backups to take place
automatically, anytime you find convenient. Unlike other practice
management software that requires all users to be logged off from all
computers before a backup can be performed, VIA can backup your database
